How we write these articles

Boulevard is an AI music company, so we will say it plainly: we have a product in this space. We still hold every article to the same rules.

  • Legal claims trace to primary sources. When we write about copyright or lawsuits, we tie it to the U.S. Copyright Office, published court filings, or a company's own terms. We say "alleged" when something is alleged and "no court has ruled" when no court has ruled.
  • We name competitors, and we concede. We compare Boulevard to Spotify, Suno, Udio, and Apple Music by name, and we tell you plainly where they beat us. An article that only flatters our own app is not worth reading.
  • Every article is dated. You see a publish date and an updated date. When the facts move, we move them.
  • Prices and product details change. When we cite a number, we mark it "as of" a date and tell you to confirm it at the source.
  • Plain English. No jargon for its own sake. If a sentence needs a glossary, we rewrite the sentence.
