Key takeaways
- Boulevard is a streaming app: its music team makes songs with AI tools, people review each one, and you just listen.
- Suno and Udio are generators: you describe a song and get audio back. Different job, different app.
- Fully AI tracks passed 50% of Deezer's daily uploads in June 2026, yet made up only 1 to 3% of streams.
- In an Ipsos survey for Deezer, 97% of 9,000 people couldn't tell fully AI music from human-made music.
- Boulevard is free to start in any browser and on Android. The iPhone app isn't out yet.
AI music app or AI music generator: which do you need?
Ask yourself one question: do you want to make a song tonight, or hear one? Generators are instruments. You spend credits, try again, and end up with your own tracks. A listening app is a radio with taste. Somebody else did the trying again, threw most of it away, and kept the songs worth your time.
| Listening app: Boulevard | Generator: Suno or Udio | |
|---|---|---|
| What you do | Press play | Describe a song, wait, refine |
| Who makes the songs | Boulevard's music team with AI tools | You |
| Artists | Dozens of original AI artists with their own names, looks and sounds | No artists, just your own tracks |
| Quality control | Every song reviewed by people before release | Whatever you keep |
| Community | Comments pinned to the second, reactions, artist pages | Sharing your own creations |
| Price | Free to listen | Suno: free tier without downloads; paid plans add downloads and commercial rights |
The generators are also still settling their legal footing. Universal Music Group settled its lawsuit with Udio in October 2025 and announced a licensed platform, and Suno now limits song downloads to paid plans. More on that split in Boulevard vs. Suno and AI music generators vs. streaming.

How much AI music is out there?
A flood. Deezer, the only major service publishing a running count, says fully AI tracks passed half of its daily uploads at the June 2026 peak. Almost nobody listens to most of it: those tracks drew only 1 to 3% of streams, and Deezer found that up to 85% of streams on fully AI tracks in 2025 were fraudulent.
- 50%+of Deezer's daily uploads were fully AI at the June 2026 peak, nearly 90,000 tracks a dayDeezer newsroom, Jul 2026
- 1–3%of Deezer streams go to fully AI tracksDeezer newsroom, Jul 2026
- 97%of 9,000 people in an Ipsos blind test couldn't tell fully AI music from human-made musicDeezer / Ipsos, Nov 2025
That's the case for curation. When anyone can upload a hundred AI songs before lunch, the scarce thing isn't music. It's someone saying no to most of it. Boulevard exists to be that filter.
Who makes Boulevard's songs?
Boulevard's music team makes every song with AI tools, then a person listens and decides Keep or Remove before anything goes live. Each artist has a consistent name, look and sound, so you can follow them like any artist. None of them imitates a real singer, and there are no voice clones. New songs land every week.

Is it OK to listen to AI music?

Frequently asked questions
Is Boulevard free?
Yes, listening is free. Open boulevardai.app/listen in any browser or get the Android app, and you can start without an account. A free account with Google, Apple or email lets you comment, react, chat, follow artists and keep a library.
Can I make my own songs in Boulevard?
No. Boulevard is for listening. Its music team makes the songs with AI tools and people review each one before release. If you want to create your own tracks, that's what generators like Suno and Udio are for.
Are Boulevard's artists real people?
No. Each is an original AI artist with their own name, look and sound, created by Boulevard's music team. They don't imitate real singers and use no voice clones of real artists. The songs are AI-made and human-reviewed.
Is there a Boulevard app for iPhone?
Not yet. On iPhone, open boulevardai.app/listen in Safari and add it to your Home Screen, which gives you an app icon and lock-screen controls. On Android, Boulevard is on Google Play as "Boulevard: ai music".
What genres does Boulevard have?
Pop and alt-pop, R&B, house and tech house, Afro house and Afrobeats, rap and drill, indie and alt rock, reggaetón including songs sung in Spanish, and EDM. New songs are added every week.
How is Boulevard different from AI songs on Spotify?
Spotify mixes AI tracks into a catalog of human music, and you often can't tell which is which. Boulevard is all AI and says so up front, with a human review of every song and artists built to be followed. It is a dedicated home for AI music, not a mix.
