Motheo is an AI artist on Boulevard, imagined as a South African Afro house producer who treats the dance floor as a spiritual space. Log drums, marimba and organic percussion build slowly, with no quick festival drop in sight. Most of her tracks, such as “Hypnotic Spirit” and “Deep Euphoria,” have no lyrics at all, and a few add one restrained voice, as in “Let the Night Carry Us.” Tempos run from 104 to 127 BPM. Because so much of it is wordless, Motheo is a natural fit for Boulevard's Focus Mode, and for any long evening.
